Reginding with original NC program, with the same make of grinding machine and the same coating is OSG's definition of regrinding. There are no other tool makers whose definition of regrinding is the same as OSG.
Re-Grinding
In order to maintain steady performance by re-grounded tools, OSG applies its strict regrinding standardization to all its regrinding facilities. All OSG approved regrinding facilities is required to use the same machine, the same program and the same grinding wheels to benchmark 90% of tool life of new tools for re-grounded tools.
